City of Quincy Traffic Commission met Feb. 10.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

1. Call to Order

2. Approval of December 9, 2024, Minutes

3. Public Comment (3-minute limit)

4. Old Business

a. “No Parking” on 6th Street between Payson Avenue and York Street

b. Traffic Study at the intersection of 7th and Jersey Streets

5. New Business

a. Ald. Entrup moved to refer to the Traffic Commission to have a pedestrian crossing or flashing lights at the Knapheide facility on north 5th Street on either side.

b. Ald. Entrup referred to the Traffic Commission to place a stop sign at the intersection of 6th & Maple Street.

c. Ald. Fletcher moved to refer to the Traffic Commission the need for a “Dead End” sign or a “No Thru” sign at 13th & Spruce, northside.

d. Ald. Rein referred to the Traffic Commission the need for another street light at Brookfield Drive.

e. Ald. Fletcher referred to the Traffic Commission to put “No Parking” signs at Gardner Park Drive.

f. Ald. Rein referred to the Traffic Commission to place “Stop” signs at the intersection of Meadowbrook and Hill & Brook.

g. Engineering Dept. referral to Traffic Commission to make 20th & Spruce an allway stop.
