It is crucial to raise awareness about recognizing the warning signs of a stroke. The acronym FAST stands for Face Drooping, Arm Weakness, Speech Difficulty, and Time to Call 911. This serves as a quick guide for identifying a potential stroke.

On World Stroke Day, there is also an opportunity to acknowledge the courage and strength of stroke survivors. Among them is Rob Plaskas, who is part of our staff and uses his personal experience to motivate others in their recovery journey. More about his story can be found at "https://www.thecaucusblog.com/2024/10/world-stroke-day-spotlight-rob-plaskas.html".
