Adams County Board Transportation, Building & Technology Committee met Aug. 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Dave Bellis called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. in the Law Library.

Present: Committee Members: Les Post, Ryan Hinkamper and Dave McCleary.

Absent: Joe Zanger

Also present: Dave Bockhold, Jim Frankenhoff, Anthony Foster, Scott Larson, Kent Snider, several county employees and news media.

Ryan Hinkamper made a motion to approve the minutes of the July 11 and July 18, 2023 committee meetings as printed and distributed. Les Post seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

The committee reviewed, approved and signed off on the bills.

John Jurgiel of Jurgeil & Associates reported to the Committee on mold testing in the courthouse. Ryan Hinkamper made a motion to approve an additional cost agreement between Adams County and Jurgiel & Associates for additional work. Dave McCleary seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

The Committee reviewed bids for air scrubbers. Dave McCleary made a motion to accept the low bid from Peters Heating & A/C. Ryan Hinkamper seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

Ryan Hinkamper made a motion to approve payment of BRIC invoice #33505 on the HVAC project at the ACJDC. Dave McCleary seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Dave McCleary made a motion to approve payment of Peters Heating & A/C pay application #8 on the HVAC project at the ACJDC. Ryan Hinkamper seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

The Committee then took comments and questions from the public.

Les Post made a motion to adjourn. Ryan Hinkamper seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 6:26 P.M.
