Adams County Board Finance Committee met Dec. 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

PRESENT: Bret Austin, Travis Cooley, Tim Finlay, Brad Poulter, Keith Callaway

OTHER: Gary Farha, Caitlin Hickerson, R. Kent Snider, Anthony Foster, Todd Eyler, Bryden Cory, Dave Bellis, Ryan Niekamp.

Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes

Motion to approve made by Travis Cooley and seconded by Brad Poulter. Motion passed.

Resolutions

• Resolution Number 2022-12-161-001 – Resolution to Increase the Annual Salary of the Supervisor of Assessments.

o The state reimburses 50% of this salary. The salary is increasing to $71,741.00.

Tim Finlay makes a motion to take this increase to the full County Board. Keith Callaway seconds the motion. Motion carried.

Budget/Levy

1. Approval for Tax Levy for year 2022

Bret Austin explains the levy sheet along with the Revenue and Expense numbers on the budget sheet. The committee agreed to what they were looking at.

Travis Cooley makes a motion to recommend this to the full County Board. Keith Callaway seconded the motion. Motion carried.

1. Review ARPA Summary of Projects .

a. Bret explained all of the ARPA Projects listed on a sheet that was handed to them in their packets. No board member had any questions. No action was taken.

2. Credit Card Permanent Increase – Request from Anthony Foster for Gail Westerhoff from $1,000 to $2,000.

3. Credit Card for Melissa Wietholder— Request from Anthony Foster, Juvenile Detention Center for $2,000.00

4. Credit Card for LaMario Rodgers – Request from Anthony Foster, Juvenile Detention Center for $2,500.00.

5. Credit Card for Ryan Bowers – Request from John Simon, EMS Director, for $1,000.00.

6. Credit Card for Kyle Dixson – Request from John Simon, EMS Director, from $300 to $1,000.00.

The County Clerk recommends these to the committee. Brad Poulter makes a motion to approve and send the above (2 through 6) Credit Card Increases to the full County Board. Keith Callaway seconded the motion. Motion carried.
