State Senator Jil Tracy is collaborating with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to offer a Mobile DMV Event in Carrollton. The event is scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Carrollton City Hall, located at 621 South Main Street.

“Making government services more accessible is a priority of mine, and I’m proud to help bring the Secretary of State’s office directly to Carrollton,” said Senator Tracy. “Events like this save people time and travel while ensuring they can take care of important needs right here at home.”

Attendees will have access to several services, including REAL ID processing, driver’s license renewal or replacement, state ID card services, license plate renewal stickers, organ and tissue donor registration, and motor vehicle registration. Seniors aged 65 and older can obtain a state ID free of charge. All payments must be made by check, credit card, debit card, or money order; cash will not be accepted.

The Secretary of State’s office notes that seniors aged 78 and older are required to visit the nearest DMV facility for driver’s license renewal.

Those interested in attending need to register by emailing moldenettel@sgop.ilga.gov or calling 217-782-1650.

Tracy was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 50th Senate District. She succeeded Steve McClure in this role.
