City of Quincy Traffic Commission will meet Dec. 12.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

A meeting of the Traffic Commission will be held at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall Conference Room #235.

1. Approval of Minutes

2. Public Comment (3-minute limit)

3. Old Business

a) Alderman Farha’s referral to place a “Yield” sign at the intersection of Division Street and Prairie Avenue.

b) Alderman Bauer’s referral to study the alley between Lind and Elm Streets, 22nd to 24th Streets.

c) Alderman Uzelac’s referral to additional speed signage around Quincy Junior High School.

4. New Business

a) Alderman Uzelac’s referral to study the intersection of 5th and Jefferson Streets.

b) Alderman Uzelac’s referral to the installation of “One-Way” signs in the area of 10th and York Street.

c) Alderman Reis’ referral to study R.J. Peters Drive between 8th and 12th Streets for the installation of pedestrian crossing and speed limits signs.

d) Alderman Farha’s referral to remove parking on 23rd Street, north and south of State Street to improve site distance.
