State Rep. Randy Frese (R-Quincy) will be visiting Jacksonville on July 11 to hold a meet and greet with his constituents.
The representative made his announcement in a July 7 Facebook post.
"To my Jacksonville and surrounding area friends: I‘ll be visiting The Little Stove this coming Monday (July 11)," Frese said. "I would love for you to come out and chat with me. Looking forward to meeting you! And if you haven’t visited this delicious Jacksonville eatery, don’t wait. This is my not my first visit and I’ve enjoyed it tremendously."
Interested individuals can attend the event at The Little Stove, 56 N. Central Park, in Jacksonville. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 11.
Frese won the Republican primary for the 99th District seat on June 28.
On Memorial Day, Frese encouraged his constituents to remember the sacrifices of service members who lost their lives fighting for the U.S., according to Quincy Reporter.
"This Memorial Day, take a moment to remember and honor the service members who have given their lives so that we can be free," Frese said. "Let us never forget their sacrifice, courage, and devotion to our nation. God bless our fallen heroes."
