Rising home prices in Clayton in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Clayton rose by $16,250 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $65,000 - a 33.3% increase over the $48,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Clayton in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Clayton for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $752, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
