•Board Items
Aidex’s Fanuc Robotics Request for Proposal – Two proposals were received. The recommendation requests the Board of Trustees authorize acceptance of the proposal and award to Aidex Corporation, in the amount of $33,900. The Aidex proposal meets all specifications and is compatible with the current equipment and curriculum. The Advance Technologies Consultants proposal did not include several options that would be needed to be able to incorporate the robot into the program. These options total $11,025 which would bring the total to $39,235.
Tractor Bids – Two bids were received. The recommendation requests the Board of Trustees authorize acceptance of the bid and award to Quincy Tractor, LLC, in the amount of $34,000 for a utility tractor to be used for groundskeeping. We expected more bids, but many other vendors were not able to meet our deadline due to low inventory.
