Adams County Board met June 17.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
PRESENT: Kent Snider, Chairman
Ryan Niekamp, County Clerk
Chairman Snider led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
Chairman Snider called the meeting to order.
The County Clerk called the role and the following members were present: Mark Peter, Robert Reich, Seldon Totsch, Les Post, Theresa Bockhold, Dave Hoskins, Bret Austin, Rebecca Weed, Ryan Hinkamper, Dave Bellis, Barney Bier, Kent Snider.
Total Present: 12 Absent: 8 Vacant: 1
Absent were: Matt Obert, John Brady, Joe Zanger, Todd Duesterhaus, Steven DeMoss, Marvin Kerkhoff, Raquel Piazza, Taylor Rakers.
One seat vacant.
Chairman Snider declared a quorum present.
Officeholders, department heads, and/or their representatives also present were: Sue Hester- Director of Administrative Services.
Chairman Snider advised that the special meeting was called as the final pay application (#29) for Williams Brothers was introduced incorrectly at the last stated meeting on June 9th, 2020. (Attachment A-1).
The correct amount for the final pay application (#29) for Williams Brothers Construction is, $1,289,082.94.
Mr. Austin made a motion to approve the final pay application.
Mrs. Weed seconded the motion.
A role call vote was taken. Members voting AYE were: Mark Peter, Robert Reich, Seldon
Totsch, Les Post, Theresa Bockhold, Dave Hoskins, Bret Austin, Rebecca Weed, Ryan Hinkamper, Dave Bellis, Barney Bier, Kent Snider.
Total in favor: 12 Oppose: 0 Absent: 8 Vacant: 1 The motion is approved.
