Quincy home prices rise in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Quincy rose by $850 while total sales decreased by 30.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 257 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,000 - a 0.8% increase over the $108,150 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 369 homes sold in Quincy in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Quincy for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,805, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
