Adams County Transportation, Building, and Technology Committee met February 12

Adams County Transportation, Building, and Technology Committee met Feb. 12.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Chairman Les Post called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. in the law library.

Present were: Committee Members: John Brady, Dave Bellis & Joe Zanger

Absent was: Committee Member Marvin Kerkhoff

Also present were: Jim Frankenhoff, Dave Bockhold, Kent Snider, & Steve De Moss

Mr. Brady made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2020 committee meeting as printed and distributed. Mr. Zanger seconded the motion. Motion to approve the minutes passed unanimously. 

The Committee reviewed, approved and signed off on the bills. 

The Committee reviewed and approved a resolution appropriating $70,000.00 from the Township Bridge Program Fund as 80% and $17,500.00 from the Burton Road District Motor Fuel Tax Fund as 20% of the Local Public Agency's 20% share towards the construction of a bridge over Tournear Creek, located on N 900TH Avenue in Burton Road District to be known as Section 11-02116-00-BR to be forwarded to the full County Board for final approval. 

The Committee reviewed and approved a resolution reporting bids and awarding contracts from the January 28, 2020 County Motor Fuel Tax Maintenance Materials Letting to be forwarded to the full County Board for final approval.

The Committee reviewed and approved a resolution reporting bids and awarding contracts from the January 28, 2020 Road District Motor Fuel Tax Maintenance Materials Letting to be forwarded to the full County Board for final approval. 

Mr. Frankenhoff reported to the Committee on progress in finding a new dozer. 

Mr. Frankenhoff reported to the Committee on the status of the 48TH Street project. 

Mr. Frankenhoff reported to the Committee on planned projects for the coming year. 

Mr. Zanger made a motion to adjourn. 

Mr. Bellis seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 6:45 P.M.
