Quincy home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Quincy rose by $13,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 75 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,000 - a 14% increase over the $93,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Quincy in October 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Quincy for 2018 was $1,762. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,706. This marks an increase of 3.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
