Payson home prices fall in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Payson fell by $39,950 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $72,000 - a 35.7% decrease over the $111,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Payson in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Payson for 2018 was $1,646. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,580. This marks an increase of 4.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
