Quincy home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Quincy rose by $17,450 while total sales increased by 3.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 231 homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,000 - a 18.3% increase over the $95,550 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 224 homes sold in Quincy in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Quincy for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,762, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
