Clayton home prices rise in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Clayton rose by $60,000 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,000 - a 133.3% increase over the $45,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Clayton in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Clayton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $665, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
