Clayton home prices fall in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Clayton fell by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000 - a 28.6% decrease over the $70,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Clayton in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Clayton for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $674, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
