Liberty home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Liberty rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,500 - a 8.1% increase over the $68,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Liberty in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,499, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
