Q4 2018 Recap: Parolees in Adams County convicted of public safety violations

There was an offender convicted of a public safety violation released on parole in Adams County during the fourth quarter of 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Quincy Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2018 when he was 43 years old. He is now 44.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
