Adams County Transportation, Building and Technology Committee met April 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Chairman Les Post called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. in the law library.

Present were: Committee Members: John Brady & Steve DeMoss.

Also present were: County Engineer Jim Frankenhoff, Business Manager Dave Bockhold, States Attorney Gary Farha, County Board Chairman Kent Snider, County Board Executive Assistant Sue Hester & County Board Member Ryan Niekamp

Absent were: Committee Members Joe Zanger & Dave Bellis

• Mr. DeMoss made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 12, 2019 committee meeting as printed and distributed. Mr. Brady seconded the motion. Motion to approve the minutes passed unanimously. The Committee reviewed, approved and signed off on the bills. The Committee reviewed and approved a resolution appropriating $130,000.00 from the County Matching Tax Fund to pay for the County's share of the resurfacing of a segment of County Highway 12 (E 1900th St) (Columbus-Coatsburg Road) (FAS Route 0589), from McKee Creek, southerly, to Liberty Street in Columbus, that is approximately 1.51 miles in length and authorizing the County Board Chairman to sign any and all agreements and contracts and shall be designated as Section 16-00175-01-FP to be forwarded to the full County Board for approval. The Committee reviewed and approved a resolution reporting bids and awarding contracts from the April 4, 2019 Road District Motor Fuel Tax Maintenance Materials Letting to be forwarded to the full County Board. Mr. Frankenhoff updated the committee on various upcoming projects. Mr. Frankenhoff informed the committee about a proposed solar farm to be built for the J.M. Huber Corporation. Mr. Brady made a motion to have a public hearing for the solar farm at 7 p.m. on

Thursday, May 23, 2019 in the Adams County Board Room. Mr. DeMoss seconded the motion. Motion for the public hearing passed unanimously. Mr. Brady made a motion to adjourn. Mr. DeMoss seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 6:45 P.M.
