Quincy home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Quincy fell by $18,001 while total sales increased by 12.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 80 homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,000 - a 15.7% decrease over the $115,001 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 71 homes sold in Quincy in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Quincy for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,706, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
