Payson CUSD 1 School District issued the following announcement on April 17.
The Payson School Board of Education is working to fill a Board vacancy. The individual selected will serve on the School Board from the date of appointment until the next election in the Spring of 2021. At that time, the individual will need to run for election if they wish to continue serving on the Board. All interested parties need to submit a letter of qualifications for board consideration by noon April 26, 2019 to the following email address, boardvacancy@cusd1.org.
Include with your qualifications the answers to the following questions:
1. Why do you want to be a board member?
2. What specific skills would you bring to the table?
3. Please give specific examples of your ability to work as a team.
4. What do you see as the role of a Board member?
5. What areas would you like to see the Board strengthen?
