Report: Liberty spent $9,326 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Liberty Community Unit School District 2 is down 0.7 percent from five years ago, according to a Quincy Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Adams County school district spent $9,388 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,326 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 661 to 602.

Liberty's spending in 2017-18 was 30.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
