Open Public Hearing on whether there is a substantial, immediate, and otherwise unavoidable threat to the health, safety or welfare of pupils of the District due to disrepair of school sidewalks, playgrounds, parking lots, or school bus turnaround at school buildings, specifically including, but not limited to, the front entrance to Quincy Junior High School and the Transportation Building parking lot, and whether repairs must be made thereto.

6. Open Public Hearing on Resolution to Waive the Administrative Cost Cap Provisions of the School Code for 2018-2019

11. New Business

      a. Close Public Hearings

      b. Consider/Approve Issuance and/or Use of Existing School Fire Prevention and Safety Bonds regarding repair of the front entrance to Quincy Junior High School and the Transportation Building parking lot

      c. Consider/Approve Resolution to Waive the Administrative Cost Cap Provisions of the School Code for the 2018-2019 School Year, pursuant to Section 17-1.5 of the School Code

      d. Adopt Resolution Regarding Estimated Amounts Necessary to be Levied for the Year 2018 and direct compliance with the Truth in Taxation law as necessary

      e. Consider/Approve Resolution Establishing Utility Easement – 42nd Street/Harrison property

      f. Consider/Approve Licensed Realtor to Sell QAVTC Building Trades Home and Lots

      g. Consider/Approve Title 1 School Improvement Grant 1003a

12. Executive Session on the following subjects: a) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the School District; b) collective negotiating matters between the School District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; c) the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the District; d) the setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the District; e) the sale or purchase of investments; f) emergency security procedures; g)student disciplinary cases; h) the placement of individual students in special education programs and other matters relating to individual students; i) pending, probable, or imminent litigation; j) attorney/client privilege; k) approval of certain closed session minutes for distribution to the public; or other matters appropriate for a closed meeting pursuant to the Open Meetings Act.

14. Executive Session Matters: Approve any matter discussed in executive session as necessary and limited to those matters authorized for discussion in executive session by motion of the Board.

15. Personnel Addendum: (Specifically including but not limited to, the hiring, including non-contractual, contract approval, and contract amendment, release, discharge, discipline, transfer, resignation, and retirement of staff).

16. Adjournment.
