City of Quincy issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
Hello Quincy! Meet Madison Badgley, the face behind your City’s Facebook page. Madison is a Public Relations intern, and part of her job is running the City’s Facebook page. She is completing her degree program at Quincy University in strategic communications. Originally from the Liberty area, Madison loves social media and is excited to share what she is learning about city government and the employees and elected officials who serve our citizens. When she’s not in class, working at City Hall, or working at First Bankers Trust, you just might find her on the set of QUTV or interviewing students or administrators for her next QU story. Madison will be interning for at least 10 more weeks. One of her goals is to encourage civic engagement from our citizens. Please join us in welcoming Madison to the team!
