Quincy Fire Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
Congratulations to our September 2018 Crew of the Month. It is comprised of the following members of our department: Firefighter Mark Bischel, Lieutenant Don Briddle, Deputy Chief Greg Dreyer, Deputy Chief Steve Salrin and Firefighter Tyler Staicoff.
These men were recognized for giving of their own, off duty, time to stand casket watch at the funeral of a retired firefighter. They have set the example of what it means to honor those that have served, and gone before us.
