State Senator Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) and State Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer (R-Murrayville) are partnering with the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office to hold an ICASH event at the Pittsfield Public Library on October 27, 2025. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 205 North Memorial Street, Pittsfield, IL.

The event is designed to help residents find out if they have unclaimed money or property and assist them in filing claims. According to the organizers, ICASH events allow Illinois residents to recover unclaimed assets, which can include items such as forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, insurance payments, stocks, and the contents of safe deposit boxes.

Since 2015, over $2 billion in assets have been returned to people in Illinois through these initiatives.

Jil Tracy was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State Senate in 2023. She represents the state’s 50th Senate District, succeeding former senator Steve McClure.

"Constituents are encouraged to stop by to check if they are owed unclaimed money or property and receive assistance filing a claim," the statement said.
