Western Illinois lawmakers are joining with The Kroc Center to organize a free Senior Adult Health Fair in Quincy. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Kroc Center, located at 405 Vermont Street.
The health fair aims to provide seniors with access to wellness screenings, health information, educational resources, and community services in one location. Attendees will be able to meet local healthcare providers, representatives from community organizations, and state and local government officials. Free refreshments will be available during the event.
“This event is an excellent opportunity for seniors to connect with local healthcare providers and learn about services available to them,” said Senator Tracy. “We’re proud to collaborate with The Kroc Center to bring this valuable resource to our community.”
“Senior fairs are incredibly important in providing access to critical social services and resources our older community can greatly benefit from,” said Senator Anderson. “The Health Fair is a one-stop opportunity to meet providers, gather important information, and enjoy time with friends.”
“Our seniors deserve opportunities to stay informed and healthy. This Health Fair brings together local experts and community resources in one convenient location, making it simple to get the care and information you need,” said Representative Moore.
“This Health Fair is a great chance for seniors to learn more about staying healthy while enjoying social interaction in a welcoming environment,” said Representative Hammond.
“With rising costs affecting many seniors on fixed incomes, it’s important that we make it easier for them to access services and resources that support their wellbeing,” said Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer.
Kate Shuker, Fitness Manager at The Kroc Center, added: “We are proud to provide a safe, convenient space for seniors to access health screenings and connect with local resources.”
No pre-registration is required for the event. For more details, interested individuals can contact 217-782-1650 or 217-231-5640.
