Mendon Community Unit School District 4 Board of Education met July. 16.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #4 met in regular session on Wednesday July 16, 2025, in the Unity High School Band Room. The meeting was called to order by President Mealiff at 6:00 p.m. Members present were: Arnsman, Fleer, McClelland, Mealiff and Zimmerman. Administrators Arnsman, Klusmeyer and Sheffler were present. Superintendent Riddle was present. No visitors were present.

MOTION: McClelland "to approve agenda items as presented with the following changes, Kylee Moore IMRF and Nicole Gronewold 6th math and science."

SECOND: Fleer

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Fleer, McClelland, Mealiff, and Zimmerman. Motion carried.

MOTION: Zimmerman "to approve of the Consent Agenda items."

SECOND: Fleer ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Fleer, McClelland, Mealiff, and Zimmerman. Motion carried.

MOTION: McClelland "to approve Press Policy updates as presented."

SECOND: Fleer

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye- Arnsman, Fleer, McClelland, Mealiff, and Zimmerman Motion carried.

MOTION: McClelland "to approve Elementary school improvement plan as presented."

SECOND: Fleer

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Fleer, McClelland, Mealiff, Beal and Zimmerman Motion carried.

MOTION: McClelland "to approve school fee schedule, breakfast & lunch prices Approve school fee raise $.25 each meal.”

MOTION: Fleer "to move to closed session at 7:35 p.m."

SECOND: Zimmerman

MOTION: Fleer "to return to open session."
