Adams County Board Public Health & Safety Committee met June 10.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Present: Mark Sorensen, Keith Callaway, and Barbara Fletcher. Also attending were EMS Director John Simon, VAC Director Paul Havermale, Coroner Scott Graham.
Absent were Steve McQueen and Brent Fischer, and Sheriff Tony Grootens.
The meeting was called to order at 5:37 PM.
There was no Speaker.
The bills were reviewed and appeared to be in order.
Approved the minutes of June 10, 2025, made by Barb Fletcher and seconded by Keith Callaway, motion passed.

Emergency Management/Ambulance – Director Simon reported:
The Ambulance service has 771 calls for the month.
Sheriff – Sheriff Tony Grootens reported that for the month of May there were.
109 average inmate population.

Veterans Assistance Commission -Paul Havermale reported.

The VAC is over 1 million dollars in benefits since they started.
