Central Community Unit School District 3 Board of Education met April 24.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Kindel Kestner, Board President, called the Final Meeting of Central Community Unit School District #3 Board of Education, Adams County, to order at 5:00 p.m. at the Central Board Office. Roll Call verified that there was a quorum of the Board with the following members present and absent listed below:

President Kestner asked for any questions or comments from the public, hearing none the meeting continued.

Motion was made by Member Dearwester, seconded by Member Kestner, to approve the April 17, 2025, Board Meeting Minutes. 

Roll Call Vote: 

Aye: Dearwester, Kestner, Cooley, Wilkey, Foss, Veach 

Nay: None 

Absent: Ippensen 

Motion Carried. 

Motion was made by Member Veach seconded by Member Wilkey, to approve the Resolution Acknowledging Receipt of Canvass Reports and Certificates of Election from the Canvassing Board of Adams County, Illinois, for the April 1, 2025, election. (Doc. Reg. #6020) 

Roll Call Vote: 

Aye: Veach, Wilkey, Kestner, Cooley, Dearwester, Foss 

Nay: None 

Absent: Ippensen 

Motion Carried. 

Motion was made by Member Kestner, seconded by Member Veach, to approve the minutes of the present meeting of April 24, 2025. 

Roll Call Vote: 

Aye: Kestner, Veach, Cooley, Wilkey, Dearwester, Foss 

Nay: None 

Absent: Ippensen 

Motion Carried.

Adjournment

Motion was made by Member Dearwester seconded by Member Cooley, that the old Board adjourn sine die and the new Board convene immediately following such adjournment.

Aye: Dearwester, Cooley, Kestner, Wilkey, Foss, Veach 

Nay: None 

Absent: Ippensen 

Motion Carried. 

There being no further business to come before the Board of Education, President Kestner declared the meeting adjourned at 5:02 p.m.
