City of Quincy Zoning Board of Appeals met April 15.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1) Call the Meeting to Order

2) Approve minutes from the previous meeting.

3) Declaration of Conflict

4) Public Hearing requested by the Quincy Park District and The Friends of the Lorenzo Bull House to vary the Zoning Code of the City of Quincy (2015) for 1550 Maine Street (Ward 4/Zoned R1A)

a) City Code Section 162.264(B)(2)(a) – A variance to allow for the installation of a ground-mounted residential sign closer than ten feet to any property line. City Code Section 162.264(B)(2)(a) states that no sign placed upon the ground shall be located closer than ten feet to any property line.

5) Public Hearing requested by Robert Roman to vary the Zoning Code of the City of Quincy (2015) for 3923 Marian Drive (Ward 3/Zoned NR1)

a) City Code Section 162.061(B)(2) – A variance to allow for the construction of an accessory building (garage) within 25-feet of a street at 3923 Marian Drive, which is zoned NR1. City Code Section 162.061(B)(2) states that where an NR1 zoning district fronts a street, no building shall be located nearer to the street than 25-feet.

6) Public Comment (limited to three minutes)
