State Senator Jil Tracy | Illinois General Assembly
Senator Tracy introduced Aaliyah Nash of Mt. Sterling to the Senate at the Capitol on April 8. Aaliyah is the daughter of Derrick and Nicole Nash and is currently participating in the Illinois Girls Lead Program. The program aims to encourage girls in Grades 5-12 to learn about the workings of state government.
The Illinois Girls Lead Program provides participants with the chance to shadow women in state government roles, including state officials, legislators, agency heads, communications directors, and chiefs of staff.
