City of Quincy Aeronautics Committee met April 2.

Mayor’s Report

• Proposal From Lucky Trish regarding the replacement of underground fuel tanks. Table for another month.

Airport Director’s Report

New Business

• Request approval for Quincy Airport to enter into a T Hangar lease agreement (C6) with Joe Garceau from Aurora Illinois. Per current city ordinance not required.

• Request approval for Quincy Airport to enter into a T Hangar lease agreement (C3) with a new T Hangar tennant. Per city ordinance not required.

• Request approval for Quincy Airport to enter into a contract with Crawford Murphy and Tilly for $102,000. This agreement is to conduct a terminal feasibility study. The agreement will be funded 95% by the federal government, 2.5% by the state and 2.5% by the city.

• Request approval to have four GPS trackers removed from airport vehicles, tractor 6A, tractor 7A, Oshkosh plow 3A & Oshkosh Blower/Broom 8A

• Request approval for the City of Quincy Mayor, to enter into a grant agreement with the FAA for the purchase of two snow removal vehicles. The city’s estimated cost would be $58,625.

• Decide whether the city should seek liquidated damages for construction project UIN 5025 involving amount of working days over runs. The project was bid for 109 days, and we are expecting it to end up at 155 days.
