● WCE celebrated the 100th day of school on January 30 with many activities!

● WCE hosted a parent program for the 4th and 5th grade students and their families on February 10th. Thanks to our Title Team for creating a fun activity involving an Escape Room linked to a topic in our science curriculum.

● Mrs. Mills, along with her third grade students, wants to thank everyone who participated in the “Love Makes the World Go Round” activity. They have reached their goal of receiving a piece of mail from each state! They are on display in the elementary entryway. What a great way to show a simple act of kindness!

● Eighth grader, Islia Rodeffer, was selected as a member of the new Junior ILMEA State Choir. She was one of about 150 students, selected out of over 1000 applicants throughout the State of Illinois. What a great experience!

● Both of our Middle School Boys Basketball Teams had great seasons! Our 7th graders made it to sectionals (after a regional championship in our home gym!) and the 8th graders made it to their regional championship game.
