City of Quincy Plan Commission met Oct. 22.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

1) Call the Meeting to Order

2) Approval of the minutes from the previous meeting

3) Declaration of Conflict

4) Public Comment on Issue(s) not listed on the agenda (limited to three minutes)

5) A request by Niemann General Contracting, Inc. to rezone property at 1700 Kochs Lane from R1A (single-family residential) to NR1 (neighborhood residential) to allow for the construction of owner occupied residential dwellings (condominiums). This request was tabled during the August 2024 Plan Commission meeting and during the September 2024 Plan Commission meeting.

a) The Petitioner has withdrawn this request from consideration

6) A request from AMB Real Estate Holdings, LLC for a zoning change from M3 (planned industrial) to M2 (heavy industrial) for property located at 2007 North 30th Street to allow for the construction of a warehouse facility/facilities at 2007 North 30th Street.

7) A request from Derek Zahm for a zoning change from C1B (retail commercial) to C2 (general commercial) for property located at 2536 Broadway Street and at 2600-2602 Broadway Street to expand the permitted commercial uses at each location.

8) A request from Levelling Up Investments, LLC for a Special Permit for Planned Development to obtain a liquor license as a means to operate a gaming parlor with multiple video gaming terminals and alcohol sales at 305 North 18th Street (which is part of 1738 Broadway Street).
