Ward 4 The Unitarian Church requests a Special Permit to allow for the installation of a ground-mounted automatic changeable copy (digital) sign at 1479 Hampshire St. zoned R2.

Wards 4, 5 Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering, on behalf of Jeanne Soebbing & State Street Bank, requests to subdivide (one lot into two) a nearly 67-acre property with no address that is located outside of the corporate city limits near 724 South 48th Street, under the Small Tracts Subdivision ordinance zoned R1A & RU1.

Ward 5 Trevor Beck requests a Special Permit for Planned Development to allow for the operation of a golf pro shop that would include retail sales and a kitchen and to allow for the issuance of a liquor license as a means to sell alcohol and to operate video gaming terminals in the golf pro shop at 700-808 South 36th Street zoned RU1.

Chief of Police recommending approval to apply for the 2024 Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Grant.

Airport Director and Aeronautics Committee recommending approval of the proposal from Air Specialists in the amount of $82,577 for nine 5-ton HVAC roof top units.

Public Works Director and City Hall Committee presents, without recommendation, the low bid from Maas Construction in the amount of $7,778,000 for the City Hall Renovation Project.

Public Works Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval to pay the invoices from Klingner and Associates in the amount of $49,264.96 for architectural and structural design services of the Water Treatment Plant.

Public Works Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval to pay the invoices from Klingner and Associates in the amount of $43,218 for surveying services of manholes and inlets on Broadway between 3rd and 54th Streets.

Public Works Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the proposal from Crawford, Murphy, and Tilly of Springfield, IL in the amount of $89,000 for services required for the Long Term Control Plan project plan renewal.

Public Works Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low bid from Richards Electric Motor Co. in the amount of $888,000 for the Water Treatment Plant Pump Station Contract “A” project which includes the replacement of the electrical service and switchgear.

Public Works Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the quote from Midwest Meter, Inc., of Edinburg, IL in the amount of $10,910 for the purchase of forty-eight cellular automatic meter readers and meter accessories.

Adoption of ordinances entitled:

The Ordinance Amending chapter 51 (Plumbing And Sewers) And Chapter 52 (Water) Of The Municipal Code Of The City of Quincy, 2015. (Increasing water rates.), was tabled for two weeks by Ald. Sassen.

Ward 3 An Ordinance Granting A Variation From Zoning Regulations. (Allow a five-foot wide side/rear yard (reduced from required 15-foot) with sight-proof landscaping and/or fencing at 2929 Broadway Street.)
