Adams County Board Transportation, Building & Technology Committee met Sept. 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Adams County Transportation, Building & Technology Committee Meeting September 12, 2023

Dave Bellis called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. in the Law Library.

Present: Committee Members: Les Post, Joe Zanger and Dave McCleary.

Absent: Ryan Hinkamper

Also present: Dave Bockhold, Jim Frankenhoff, Anthony Foster, Scott Larson, Kent Snider, Todd Eyler, Terry Bower, David Hochgraber, Holly Henze, several county employees and news media.

Dave McCleary made a motion to approve the minutes of the August 15, 2023 committee meeting as printed and distributed. Joe Zanger seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

The committee reviewed, approved and signed off on the bills.

The Committee took public comments and questions, which were all about the mold situation.

Jim Frankenhoff reported to the Committee about various road and bridge projects.

David Hochgraber reported to the Committee on IT projects.

Les Post made a motion to accept a bid from Fischer Builders for work on manhole covers at the old jail sally port to seal leaks to the subbasement. Dave McCleary seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

The Committee discussed IT Department travel expenses. They will keep using mileage reimbursement for now and look into insurance coverage for transporting county equipment.

Dave McCleary made a motion to approve payment of Peters Heating & A/C invoice #0606563 for the air scrubbing equipment. Joe Zanger seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

Dave McCleary made a motion to approve payment of NGS Services, LLC invoice #1463 for the audio/visual project in the County Board Room. Joe Zanger seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

Dave McCleary made a motion to adjourn. Les Post seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 6:18 P.M.
