Adams County seniors had a day full of fun, food, and health screenings at the Senior Health Fair held on Tuesday at the Kroc Center in Quincy. The event was a success, with a large number of seniors from throughout the county attending and receiving valuable health resources.

State Senator Jil Tracy and Representative Randy Frese were present at the fair, engaging with the seniors and offering their support. They both expressed their satisfaction with the event and the opportunity to interact with the community.

"We had a great morning talking with seniors from throughout Adams County, helping provide free screenings, health and fitness information, and more," said Rep. Randy Frese. "It was wonderful to see so many seniors taking advantage of the resources and services available to them."

The fair featured a wide range of vendors and medical professionals who offered their services and expertise to the seniors. These professionals conducted health screenings, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests, and glucose monitoring. The seniors were grateful for the opportunity to have these important health tests done free of charge.

"We are thankful to the many vendors and medical professionals who generously contributed their time and resources to make this event a success," added Rep. Frese. "Their support and commitment to the well-being of our seniors is truly commendable."

In addition to the health screenings, the fair also provided valuable information on various health and fitness topics. Seniors had the opportunity to learn about nutrition, exercise, and other lifestyle choices that can positively impact their overall well-being.

The Kroc Center, which co-hosted the event, played a vital role in ensuring its success. The facility provided a spacious and welcoming venue for the fair, allowing seniors to comfortably navigate through the different booths and activities.

"Special thanks to the Kroc Center for co-hosting with us," expressed Rep. Frese. "Their partnership and support were instrumental in making this event possible."

The Senior Health Fair was not only a day of health and wellness but also a chance for seniors to socialize and have fun. Seniors were treated to delicious food and beverages throughout the event, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.
