City of Quincy Plan Commission met July 25.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

• Call the Meeting to Order/Welcome New Members 

• Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting of the Quincy Plan Commission on June 27, 2023. 

• Declaration of Conflict 

• Public Comment on Issue(s) Not Listed on the Agenda (limited to three minutes) 

• A request from United Community Credit Union to rezone P.I.N. 23-7-0661-015-00 at the SW corner of 36th Street and College Avenue from C3 (Commercial) to C2 (Commercial) to allow for the construction of a retail credit union (bank) branch and administrative offices (Ward 3) 

• A request from Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. on behalf of NLA Quincy, to subdivide property located at 3601 Broadway Street under the small tracts provision of the subdivision ordinance (Ward 3 – Zoned C2) 

• A request from Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. on behalf of PSBA to subdivide property located at 100 South 54th Street and at P.I.N. 23-9-0151-002-00 under the small tracts provision of the subdivision ordinance (Ward 3 – Zoned C2) 

• A request from Neil Taylor for a Special Permit for Planned Development to allow for ownership of more than one horse at 2102 Melview Road/P.I.N. 20-0-1609-001-00 (Ward 6 – Zoned R1A) 

• A request from JoAnn & Dennis Hildebrand to rezone 4704 Wismann Lane from RU1 (Rural) to M1 (Light Industrial) to allow for future industrial development (Ward 3) 

• A request from Deborah Uppinghouse for a Special Permit for Planned Development to allow for the operation of a hospitality house at 1300 Spruce Street (Ward 1 – Zoned R1C) 

• Additional Business for the Commission
