Q3 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Adams County convicted of crimes involving weapons set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons living in Adams County released on parole during the third quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Quincy Reporter.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 46 years old. He is now 48.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of crimes involving weapons were paroled during the third quarter of 2022 in each Illinois county.
