Q4 2021 Recap: 7 parolees from Adams County convicted of property crimes set for release

There were seven offenders convicted of property crimes living in Adams County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Quincy Reporter.

The data shows six men and one woman were among the parolees. Of the parolees sentenced for property crimes, one was a veteran, and the median age was 45. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced in 2020, and the oldest was a 60-year-old woman sentenced in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Reggie D. Davidson. He was convicted in 2019 when he was 43 years old. He is now 47.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of property crimes were paroled during the fourth quarter of 2021 in each Illinois county.
