Hawks Lose Lead Down the Stretch on the Road
Looking to get back to their winning ways, the Hawks traveled to the McKendree University Bearcats on Thursday, January 26th. Despite leading by two at the half, the Hawks could not hold the lead and fall by the score of 66-62.
Malik Hardmon led the Hawks on both sides of the ball. He registered 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 steals. Hardmon shot 8 of 18 from the field. Paul Zilinskas was the other Hawk in double figures with 15 points.
As a team, the Hawks shot 25 of 64 from the field, 1 of 13 from beyond the arc and 11 of 13 from the charity stripe.
QU is back in Pepsi Arena on Saturday, January 28th with the Maryville University Saints in town for a 3:00 p.m. start.
