Adams County Board Legislative & Judicial Committee met Oct. 11.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Review of Monthly Reports

Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes

The motion to approve minutes was made by Todd Duesterhaus. Seconded by Raquel Piazza. Motion carried.

1. November 8th 2022 is the General Election from 6AM – 7PM.

• County Code

1. Open Meetings Act – Update

▪ Ryan Parker from the State’s Attorney’s office has been looking intothe OMA update. Every provision that pertains to the CountyGovernment. This will all go into the County Code. This will be an additional 5 pages. Will be completed by next week.

Resolutions

o 2022-10-001-051 – Resolution Adopting Adams County Courthouse Holiday Calendar for Calendar Year 2023

Todd Duesterhaus makes a motion to recommend and approve the above resolution to the County Board. Raquel Piazza seconded the motion. Motion carried.

o 2022-10-001-052 – Resolution Adopting Meeting Calendar for the Adams County Board for the Calendar Year 2023

Todd Duesterhaus made a motion to approve and recommend to the full county board.

Raquel Piazza seconded the motion. Motion carried.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Marvin Kerkhoff. Raquel Piazza seconded the motion. Motion passed.
