Village of Mendon Village Board of Trustees met Sept. 8.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

 The Mendon Village Board of Trustees met in regular session on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the Village Office. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Village Mayor David Wittler. Trustees present were: Bastert, Buss, Cantrell, Keefe, and King. Trustee Cannell was absent. Village Superintendent Cantrell and Village Clerk Woodruff were present. There was no deputy in attendance. There were no visitors.

∙ (6) Traffic stops – verbal warning

∙ Forgery case to business - two suspects. One subject arrest warrant  sent to States Attorney. Other subject waiting on bank records for warrant.

∙ Theft of power tools from unlocked vehicle. Report investigation to continue. Business has taken steps to solve issue.

∙ Juvenile issue – juvenile was followed to school.

∙ Assisted agency making contact with subject for Hannibal, MO Police Dept.
