Village of Mendon Board of Trustees met Aug. 11.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Mendon Village Board of Trustees met in regular session in the Village Office. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Village Mayor David Wittler. Trustees present were: Bastert, Buss, Cantrell, and King. Trustees Absent were: Cannell and Keefe. Village Superintendent Cantrell and Village Clerk Woodruff were present. There was  no deputy in attendance. Others in attendance were: Todd Steinkamp

∙ Todd Steinkamp spoke regarding subdivision ordinances

∙ (6) Traffic stops – verbal warnings – lodged subject on warrant

∙ Still working on home repair fraud case – no arrest / forwarded  report to States Attorney

∙ Checked on female subject east edge of town

∙ Assisted Quincy Police on theft case from Quincy. Information  forwarded to QPD.

Maintenance Superintendent’s Report:

∙ North Lift Station – up and running

∙ East Lift Station quote to rebuild pumps – approximately $6,500

∙ Rubber mulch for park has arrived and will be placed on the park  playgrounds soon
