Adams County Board Legislative & Judicial Committee met July 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

PRESENT: Theresa Bockhold, Marvin Kerkhoff, Mark Peter, Todd Duesterhaus

ABSENT: Raquel Piazza

Bills were reviewed by all present committee members.

Review of Monthly Reports

Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes

Motion to approve minutes with additional corrections was made by Theresa Bockhold and seconded by Marvin Kerkhoff. Motion passed. Corrections made to last month’s meeting was Todd Duesterhaus was listed as Absent, however, showed up later.

• Firework Permit

1. Firework Permit for the Village of Clayton for a display to be held on August 13, 2022, at 9:15PM

2. Firework Permit for Point D’Vine, LLC for a display to be held on July 2, 2022, at 9:30PM.

Todd Duesterhaus made a motion to approve the above Firework Permits. Theresa Bockhold seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Resolutions

o 2022-07-121-034 – Resolution Certifying and Approval of the Adams County Election Judges for a Two-Year Term

Todd Duesterhaus makes a motion to recommend the above resolution to the full county board. Theresa Bockhold seconded the motion. Motion carried. o Intergovernmental Agreement with Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials

Theresa Bockhold makes a motion to recommend to the full County Board. Marvin Kerkhoff seconded the motion. Motion carried.

• 2022-07-001-031 – ARPA: Payson Water System Upgrades

• Juvenile Detention Center – Transfer of Funds (Anthony Foster) The above ARPA Projects are just summaries, and no action was taken individually. Marvin Kerkhoff makes a motion to recommend these projects to the full County Board. Todd Duesterhaus seconded the motion. Motion carried.
