The City of Quincy would like to remind residents that the annual city-wide cleanup event will be held Monday, September 26th through Friday, September 30th on the northwest corner of the Quincy Town Center parking lot (near Slumberland) located at 3203 Broadway Street.
The cleanup site will be staffed and open to the public during the following hours:
• Monday, Sept. 26th through Wednesday, September 28th – 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 29th – 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 30th – 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Drivers will enter the clean-up site from College Avenue and will exit on to North 30th Street. The event is open to city of Quincy residents only and participants will be required to provide a valid driver’s license or photo I.D. when entering the site. Commercial haulers are not allowed.
Residents are asked to be in line thirty minutes prior to closing time. Those not in line prior to that time will be turned away. Please bring someone to assist with the unloading of your items if assistance is required.
As in previous years, electronics, tires, yard waste, and liquids will not be accepted. Due to State and Federal regulations, appliances containing refrigerants must have a sticker on it certifying that the refrigerant has been properly reclaimed.
