Q2 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Adams County?

There were 15 offenders living in Adams County released on parole during the second quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Quincy Reporter.

The data shows eight men and seven women were released in Adams County. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man sentenced for a crime against the government in 2019, and the oldest was a 56-year-old woman sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2019.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Ethan D. Devlin. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2018 when he was 32 years old. He is now 35.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2021 in each Adams County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
