Mendon Community Unit School District 4 Board of Education met June 23.

Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Community Unit School District #4 Board of Education Adams and Hancock Counties, Illinois. 

The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #4 met in regular session in the Unity High School Band Room. 

The meeting was called to order by President Farmer at 6:00 p.m. Members present were: Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen, and Shaffer, Administrators Arnsman and Klusmeyer were present. Superintendent Riddle was present. Nine visitors were present. 

MOTION: Janssen "to approve agenda items as presented." 

SECOND: Fleer 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried. 

MOTION: Janssen "to approve of the Consent Agenda items." 

SECOND: Duke 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried. 

MOTION: Duke to approve Semi-annual review of closed sessions for 1st half of the year." 

SECOND: Fleer 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried, 

MOTION: Shaffer to approve consolidated district plan." 

SECOND: Janssen 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer, Motion carried, 

MOTION: Fleer to approve District fee schedule." 

SECOND: Duke 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer, Motion carried. 

MOTION: Duke “to approve Board of Education meeting schedule as presented." 

SECOND: Janssen 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried. 

MOTION: Duke "to approve to allow flexibility during designated dead weeks." 

SECOND: Shaffer 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye -- Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried. 

MOTION: Janssen "to approve to renew IHSA membership." 

SECOND: Fleer 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried. 

MOTION: Duke "to move to closed session at 7:00 p.m." 

SECOND: Shaffer 

ACTION: Roll Call Vote: Aye - Arnsman, Duke, Farmer, Fleer, Janssen and Shaffer. Motion carried. 

MOTION: Janssen "to return to open session at 8:45 p.m." 

SECOND: Fleer

MOTION: Duke "to approve minutes of the June 23, 2021 closed session." SECOND: Janssen

MOTION: Fleer "to adjourn at 8:45 p.m."
